Yuting is a Chinese multi-media artist
born in
1998, based in London and Beijing, her research
interests focus on digital media, experimental
moving images, game engines, and the paradoxes
of the virtualization of reality under the influence
of digital image and media networks.👀
Yuting holds a B.A. from Tsinghua University in Print, and has completed her M.F.A. in Fine Art at Tsinghua University in 2023 with her dissertation ‘The Moving Image Art in the Context of Media Ecologies’. She earned her second Master’s Degree at the Royal College of Art in Digital Direction in 2024. She has won the Chinese Art Education Scholarship in 2020, Tsinghua Academic Excellence Award etc. During her graduate studies at the Royal College of Art, her works were exhibited in multi-media spaces such as the BBC British Broadcasting Center in London, UK and The Outernet London. Her print works have been shortlisted for several print Biennials. Between 2020 and 2021, she was an assistant intern working at Chinese multi-media artist CaoFei’s Studio, where she participated in ‘Staging the Era: Cao Fei solo exhibition’ in Beijing and other research projects .
